November Safety Council Meeting — Lung Cancer

Please join us for our 4th Ross County Safety Council meeting of the year on November 14th from 11:15am-1:00pm at the Adena PACCAR Medical Education Center (446 Hospital Rd. in Chillicothe). Food will be catered by 7 Miles Smokehouse and served at 11:15am. The menu items this month will be: pulled pork, baked beans, and baked mac n’ cheese. Presentation will immediately follow at 12pm-1pm.

Topic: Lung Cancer (November is Lung Cancer Awareness Month)

Speaker: Jeremiah Martin, MD, a physician specializing in Cardiothoracic Surgery has been welcomed to the medical staff at Southern Ohio Medical Center.

Dr. Martin received his medical degree from The Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin, Ireland. He completed a residency in general surgery at the Yale University School of Medicine in New Haven, CT. He completed a fellowship in cardiovascular surgery at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center in Lexington, KY and a fellowship in Lung Transplant and Minimally Invasive Thoracic Surgery at Duke University School of Medicine in Durham, NC. He is board certified in thoracic and general surgery.
